Getting here by train
Leave the car behind and come to the Forest by train. Brockenhurst station hosts 310 stopping trains a day from as far afield as Scotland. Waterloo to Brockenhurst is just 90 minutes door to door. Cycle hire
There are two cycle hire shops based at Brockenhurst station and a third just outside the village. The New Forest boasts 193 miles of off road cycle trails. Many of which start in Brockenhurst. The easy flat cycling on broad gravelled off road tracks is a great way to get about and see the forest. Links ..>
Shopping
Brockenhurst is a pretty Victorian village with a high street full of old fashioned shops (apart from the tescos!). If you want to go further afield you can catch the train to the Isle of Wight (takes you directly to the ferry), Lymington, Winchester, Bournemouth, Southampton and, of course, to London. Links ..>
