Lie back in the amazing hand-made bed, which is made from a 200-year-old oak that fell in a storm on a New Forest farm. The 4-poster was hand-crafted for Cottage Lodge by designer and artisan Rob Dyer.

    Ponies and cattle can wander freely throughout the village. Watch out for them in New Forest villages and on the forest roads – the ponies have been known to wander right into Brockenhurst village shops.
